Importing tax data from Bitrue to TokenTax using CSV

  • API INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Log in to your Bitrue account

  2. Hover over the profile icon in the top right corner

  3. Select API from the drop-down menu

  4. Provide a name for your API key, e.g. “TokenTax”

  5. Select “Create API Key”

    1. If you haven’t already, set-up two factor authentication by heading to “Security” on the left menu bar

  6. Follow the verification steps sent via email

  7. Add your API key and secret into TokenTax

  • CSV INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Hover over the “Assets” tab in the top right corner

  3. Select “Overview”

  4. Click on “Export Asset Transaction History” in the top right corner

  5. Choose the type of data you need. Trades are the most important for TokenTax, but you may want to export reports for bonuses and, if you are calculating an FBAR report, the deposits and withdrawals as well

  6. Export three month increments of your transaction history for the entire time period that you have traded on Bitrue

  7. Upload your CSV file to TokenTax
