BitMEX data is supported via API or CSV import.
Please follow these steps to connect an API:
Open the BitMEX API page by first clicking on your account name (email) the top right corner.
Click Account and Security.
On the left sidebar, click API Keys.
Leave Key Permissions blank and Withdraw unchecked.
Click Create API Key.
Copy your API key and secret to the appropriate fields on the TokenTax Imports page.
If you would rather import your BitMEX data via CSV, you can generate the necessary file by following these steps:
Navigate to the Wallet (Deposits/Withdrawals) page (https://www.bitmex.com/app/wallet).
Click Save as CSV in the top right corner.
Select Wallet History.
Download the CSV file.
Upload your CSV file to the TokenTax Imports page.
Please Note: This platform offers Margin, Futures, and/or Derivatives transactions. These types of transactions require the purchase of a supporting plan or the Margin Add-On.
If you have transacted using these types, you can generate CSV files of your Margin, Futures, or Derivatives data by following these steps:
Navigate to your Bitmex wallet (deposits/withdrawals) page (https://www.bitmex.com/app/wallet).
At the top right (to the right of where it says Wallet), click Save as CSV.
Upload your CSV file to the TokenTax Imports page.
Please note that we will need the wallet history (not the trading/execution history).
