How to Import your KuCoin Data

Due to changes on KuCoin's end, new API connections are not currently possible. Existing API imports may be showing a sync error, but they may still be providing historical transactions from the date range shown; for this reason, it is important to leave existing connections in your account to ensure that all historical data is retained. Deleting the import will remove those potentially irretrievable transactions from your account, and this action is not reversible - for this reason, we highly recommend that these not be removed or deleted.

If you need to import new/missing KuCoin data to complete your dataset, you can do so via CSV import. To generate files of your spot trade history, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Kucoin Dashboard. In the top right corner of the screen, hover over & click your profile badge.

  2. On the profile page, Select Export History.

  3. From the Export screen, click Export.

  4. Click the drop-down menu which says Market and select All.

  5. Under Time Span, click Custom.

  6. Select the date when you completed your first trade and the same date one year after. If the end date is beyond today's date, please select Current Date. If the end date has passed, you'll need to export another file starting the day after the previous file was exported.

  7. Click Include Sub-Accounts, if applicable.

  8. Click Confirm; the document may take a few minutes to generate.

  9. Download the file from the Export History page.

  10. Open the file on your computer and you will find a number of reports. You will need the following:

  11. SpotOrders_FilledOrders (do not upload the SpotOrders_FilledOrders(Show Order Splitting).csv in addition, as it will duplicate your trade data)

    1. Deposit_Withdrawal History_DepositHistory

    2. Deposit_Withdrawal History_Withdrawal Record

  12. Upload your CSV files to the TokenTax Imports page.

Please Note: This platform offers Margin, Futures, and/or Derivatives transactions. These types of transactions require the purchase of a supporting plan or the Margin Add-On.

If you have transacted using these types, you can generate CSV files of your Margin, Futures, or Derivatives data by following these steps:

Futures Data

  1. Login to KuCoin Futures.

  2. Select Futures Orders on the right-hand side.

  3. Download PNL History and Funding History.

  4. Upload your CSV files to the TokenTax Imports page.

Cross/Isolated Margin Data

Please contact KuCoin support and request CSV files of your transaction history.
