Bybit spot transactions are supported via either API or CSV import. However, if you have used this platform for margin/derivative type trades then you will need to use CSV along with your regular import - see below for details.
Please follow these steps to connect an API:
On the Bybit platform, click your email at the top and select Account & Security.
Click the API Management tab.
At the top right, click Create New Key.
Keep the API Transaction option selected, then give your key a name and leave Connect With IP blank.
Set Active Order and Positions for Key Permission and check the Read Only box.
Copy and paste your API key and secret to the TokenTax Imports page.
If you would rather import your Bybit data via CSV, you can generate the necessary files by following these steps:
Login and click Assets -> Funding Account -> History -> Export.
Select all account types under Account Change Details and Derivatives/Inverse Derivatives.
Set the date range to include all transactions. Note: Each export can contain up to 12 months of data. Multiple reports may be needed.
Your report will be available the following day and data can be exported up to 10 times per month.
When available, download the CSV files.
Upload the CSV files to the TokenTax Imports page.
Please Note: This platform offers Margin, Futures, and/or Derivatives transactions. These types of transactions require the purchase of a supporting plan or the Margin Add-On.
To generate your Bybit derivatives files, please follow these steps:
Log in and Navigate to Assets -> Funding Account -> History -> Export
Select all account types under Account Change Details and Derivatives/Inverse Derivatives.
Set an appropriate date range. Note: Each export can contain up to 12 months of data. Multiple reports may be needed.
Your report will be available the following day and data can be exported up to 10 times per month.
When available, download your report(s).
Import your CSV files to the TokenTax Imports page.
