What does it mean when an integration is in BETA?

Written by Oat

When we launch an integration we do extensive testing to ensure confidence prior to introducing it to our clients. We often note new integrations as being in "BETA"- this means that the integration is new and there may be potential for minor bugs to occur. We will do our best to identify and squash these as quickly as we can.

Our engineering team constantly tests and improves existing integrations while also working to build new ones. We launch new integrations regularly- However, during the initial launch, clients should note that it will be necessary to review the data that has been imported via an API that is currently in BETA. This also helps us to identify any issues, and to ensure accuracy in your tax reporting. Reconciliation work (manual editing) may also be needed.

If you have any questions about an API integration in BETA or how to manually edit (reconcile) transactions, please contact support via chat or email ([email protected]).
